Internship Site: CYTO|PHL in Corporate Meeting Planning
During my internship at CYTO|PHL as a Hospitality Intern, I supported both the operational and administrative sides of event planning in a fast-paced venue environment. I managed incoming leads and assisted with client and vendor communication, helping to guide events from initial inquiry through execution. I created event materials including signage, menus, and labels using Canva, and supported the sales process by drafting contracts and coordinating event details through TripleSeat. On the operational side, I assisted with event setup and breakdown, including pickups and deliveries, maintaining venue cleanliness through bussing, dishwashing, and polishing, and ensuring a safe, organized environment for guests. This experience allowed me to develop a strong understanding of full-cycle event coordination while balancing both behind-the-scenes logistics and guest-facing responsibilities.
